"Alguma coisa para fazer com as mãos" (Something to do with our hands)  consists of woven works made from analog photographs of bodies. Consisting of dyptychs and a few solo images, the photographs bring together scenes from everyday life and dreamlike settings. What unites them is the presence of the hands - a tribute to human creativity and the capacity to play, in art and in life. If we need hands in order to see, it is the gestures of the body that give shape to the movement of life.

 

Each work has two sides: on one, the image in positive; on the other, its negative.
